Who would guess that when Obama made this address at the 2004 Democratic Convention, it would later become his stump speech for his 2008 Presidential campaign.
I was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa during Dwight Eisenhower's Administration. My family settled in a small town which made Mayberry look like a booming metropolis. In 1976 I first arrived in Oregon on the day after Jimmy Carter was elected President. I reside near Portland in a suburban neighborhood that, you guessed it, somewhat resembles the town I tried to escape.
