I was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa during Dwight Eisenhower's Administration. My family settled in a small town which made Mayberry look like a booming metropolis. In 1976 I first arrived in Oregon on the day after Jimmy Carter was elected President. I reside near Portland in a suburban neighborhood that, you guessed it, somewhat resembles the town I tried to escape.

It's all too perfect, something seems fishy to me here!
They have gone crazy in New York with the Obama victory. The newspapers still have full front page pictures of him. Many people are still wearing their hats, t shirts, and buttons.
